Yaggi continues his story, “Days rolled on and the grasshopper watched his former love fly higher and higher each day. He was heartbroken. As he watched her fly he grew to hate even the idea of flying. He vowed to never open his wings again. He would live a solitary and grounded life, walking everywhere he went. He stopped watching his former love reach heights he never could have. He stopped looking up. Just as he looked down, she broke the canopy and saw above the trees. It was an indescribable view and the wind felt amazing under her wings, but it offered no protection.”
